La Vie En Rose

I love ROSES! I love the way they look out in a garden, in a vase inside, on fabric, china plates...you name it! Here are some pretty roses I have had around my house recently....

The pink ones in the fourth picture are sitting right next to me as I type this and they smell wonderful! By the way...La Vie En Rose was my parents song......

Stunning roses Penny and love the silver mosaic pitcher! Hope you are having cooler weather - Raleigh still hot during the day but the early mornings are perfect right now!
Did you see the movie 'La Vie en Rose' about Edith Piaf's life? A masterpiece - I was astounded by the young woman who played Edith....and of course that unforgettable song.

Penny I'm so envious of your beautiful roses, I'm desperately trying to grow lots in our garden, at the moment I'm buying bunches from the market or florist they're all grown in hot houses and just aren't the same as beautiful garden roses. I can't seem to paint without some form of fresh rose in front of me, so thanks for sharing yours with us

You have done it again! That pitcher is gorgeous! Not to mention your roses! I raise them myself and have a very happy time arranging them in various containers. You have photographed them beautifully, also.
