Tole Trays

I think I am stuck in the "T's"..... My last post was about transferware and toile. This one is about Tole Trays. All three seem to go together very well.

The three red tole trays hang in my bedroom. Only one wall in my bedroom is red - the one behind the bed. The other three walls are cream.

This red tole tray sits in my kitchen and I use it to carry drinks and such outside, when the weather is nice enough to dine al fresco.

The tole tray table above used to sit in my reading nook in my last home, but I couldn't find anyplace to place it in my home now. So, it is for sale on my website.

This cute buttercream tole tray is also on my website.

The two trays above are on the wall of my studio. The top one has alot of "character" (scratches-lol). The rectangle green one is really not a vintage tole tray, but a newer jelly roll type pan that someone painted roses on. I love the cottage green color.

The three black trays above are very similar in size and looks. They are hung above French doors in our study.

And finally the pretty green one above is sitting on top of a bookcase in our study, next to two watering cans.

I have been looking for a pink tole tray to use as a backdrop for photo shoots in my studio. So if anyone has one they want to part with :-) let me know!

Oddly, I don't have a pink tray. If I did, it'd be on it's way over. I haven't gotten into collecting trays too much but I have gotten a few recently. Two small, thin red ones that I use in the holes in my desk that used to have drawers in them. And I have a couple aqua and a couple black that I make-shifted (if that's a word) into a rolling breakfast cart. But no pink. I'll keep an eye out for one though. Have a wonderful Sunday. Blessings.. Polly

I will keep my eyes open for a pink one for you. I enjoy the tole trays and have a few. I also love the paper mache trays I started collecting, do you have any of those?

You've got some good ones! I don't think I've ever run across a pink one. I've certainly never owned one. If I had, I'd still have it!

You've got such wonderful collections and yet your home doesn't look too cluttered! Just perfect!

Congratulations on your Home Companion feature. I will pick it up later today after seeing it on Michelle's post. That sweet little plate I use as a coaster is the size of a small dessert plate, so a bit bigger than coaster size. I love it.

Hi Penny, I love your trays and Toile plates and assessories! My sister just brought me up 10 little black trays, and I think I'll put them on plate hangers and place them over an archway. I have the red and white Toile plates too and they are still in storage in Tennessee. I an hardly wait to get them out and decorate with them. You have given me renewed inspiration!

Hugs,
Jan

Did you find a pink one yet? I have not, but I'll ask mom. She always seems to be able to pull some treasure out of box stuffed under a table, wedged between the freezer so large you could hide people in it and the washer/dryer. Her basement is some kind of treasure chest. The attic... I just know that I'm gonna get stuck cleaning that baby out someday! Who knows what lives up there! But I'm sure she'll know right where to look for a pink tray. =) Blessings... Polly

I don't have a pink tole tray, but I'd loan you it if I did. I bet that Lisa (A Thing For Roses) has one.

Love your red trays - well, love them all. How you have them displayed is wonderful!

Well, I've been seeing tole trays everywhere lately... yellow, cream (which I loved but used the small amount of control I possess), aqua, green, faded peachy orange... but no pink! UGH! Did you ever find one? Blessings... Polly
