Above are just a few of the vintage picnic baskets that I will eventually paint and then mosaic the tops. My favorite of course is the rare round one.

Vintage galvanized watering cans are so fun to mosaic. I love making something functional into a piece of art. These are a few that are waiting transformation.

YIKES! I have a lot of vintage silver pitchers, sugar bowls and creamers. They are patiently waiting to be turned into mosaic lamps.....
I need to get busy :-)

Oh Penny: I love all your items even before you make them more beautiful. Just a few months ago I purchased an old watering can.... I LOVE the baskets! Since my ceilings are so high in my farmhouse, I place my baskets on top of the three armoires, hutch and bookcases. Please be sure to share the finished products with us...at least one of each.
I like the round picnic basket also, and love galvanized watering cans, but your collection of vintage silver pitchers, sugar bowl's,& creamers...WOW..you have gotten my heart rate up! :) And what a lovely photo, I would enlarge it and have it framed..gorgeous collection!! And when you are done creating your magic with them, they will be even more beautiful!!
Happy weekend Penny!

Well that should keep you busy for quite some time! How many hours a day do you spend in your studio?
Wow, Penny...all of those treasures waiting to be transformed into one of a kind works of art from your studio! It has brightened my evening just visiting today. :-) I can't wait to see how all of these turn out. I have collected vintage sugar bowls for quite some time, and I can just imagine how cute one would be with mosaic art.
Wow Penny! Your imagination is just mind blowing to me. I think you're amazing! Can't wait to see the finished masterpieces.

Oh how fun! It is very satisfying to group "like" items together for visual collage! I used to lean more towards eclectic mixes, but lately I have been dabbling with this, too!
Also, thanks for you comments on the fires. We saw just a hint of precipitation this morning and one couldn't help but think what a full on shower would to for CA.!
Hugs, KJ
You really do have lots of vintage silver there. All those groupings look so great - especially the vintage picnic baskets.

Photo shoot? Tell us more. And I think I love the silver pitchers just like that - all sitting together. They're beautiful, like you. Blessings... Polly
