This weekend I am STILL working on the mosaic teacart! It has been like really doing 5 tables~ There are three tiers, and the two drop leaves. I feel like the movie "Groundhog Day". Everyday I get up, walk into my studio and THERE IT IS! Waiting for me, still not finished-lol. I hope to be done with it by mid week.....fingers crossed :-). Anyway, here is a picture of the "before".
And a sneak peek of the during.....
What are YOUR plans for this wonderful fall weekend?

Oh that is just beautiful !!!
I think I deleted my first comment so please ignore one of them if you should get both =) I LOVE your cart! And I know Groundhog's Day was hysterical but it can be frustrating in real life. Blessings... Polly
I love your cart, Penny! That is so funny about Ground Hog day. I have many of those myself!
I am heading back to my blog now for more of the party that never ends... ! LOL! Actually I posted the Grande Finale today so it really will end, I promise!

What a stunning transformation already, Penny!
I finally finished my drapes so this weekend I will begin the embroidery for the pillows. That's my favorite part:)
But I am going to make some time to get outdoors and chase around my little wild Indian, and hopefully end it all around the cozy firepit.
Hope your weekend is delightful.
Rhonda
It is so so pretty, I love it.
You do such beautiful work.
Well, we cleaned our duct work (not something I recommend) and then my daughter and I got t-boned in a parking lot exit (again, not something I would recommend)! We are fine, the van...not so much. So that about shoots our Saturday, I'd rather be learning mosaics:>) By the way, the cart is going to be beautiful! I can see why it would take so long, there is a lot of surface there:>)
Penny, I think I have that very tea cart, in its undecorated state of course. The photo'son my blog somewhere under vintage things.
Why don't you come to the mountain house and do mine in mosaics? We could stop by Calistoga for lunch *big grin*
Your work is beautiful
