Vintage Vavoom Part II

Oh How I Wish I Could Go!

I received and invitation to go the the Vintage Vavoom launch party. The party is this Saturday in Tustin California. I live in NC.....:-(.

But on the bright side, Hillary Black, one of the editors asked if I would like to contribute one of my mosaic pieces to be given away as a door prize at the event! So this sweet little Silver Plate Mosaic Sugar Bowl Lamp (similar to the Mosaic Cream deLIGHT I showed in a previous post) is traveling to the offices of Romantic Homes, Cottages and Bungalows and Victorian Homes magazines even as I type this. It's nice to know that even if I can't be there, one of my mosaic pieces will be. I feel like a proud Momma, watching her baby get on the school bus for the first time :-)

37 fun creative friends stopped by to say,:

Oh, I wish you could go. You would have a great time, I'm sure. The little lamp is just wonderful - and the plate is gorgeous. I love pretty plates and I would have a terrible time breaking them up so it's nice to have more than one, I'm sure. Of course if I did the kind of gorgeous work you do I'd probably buy more plates than I could use - some for me and some for my art pieces. Thanks for sharing them with us. Hope we get to see 'Rosie' when she's all dolled up.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet anniversary wishes.

Wow, It's a long way away from you! Two opposite corners of the U.S.

Your "piggy contest" was great! Happy that Lynn won it. She's a great gal!
