If you love kitchens - head over to Bj's blog, Sweet Nothings. She is hosting a Kitchen Open House. It started two days ago, so make sure you scroll back a couple of posts to see them all. These are pictures of kitchens from some of your favorite bloggers, or their dream kitchens. (The music playing, if you want to hear it, is Sweet Nothings in honor of BJ's blog name :-) )
This picture above is from BH&G. I love the red, white and green.

Wow your music blew me away in a wonderful way. I love it!!!
I'm really enjoying her posts too! I sent her three different kitchens that I like from Rate My Space!
Hi Penny,
Ooh this one is pretty, I'm going to go take a look at your other posts - been away too long.
Happy day!

I agree. The Kitchen Open House BJ is hosting is so fun. Ahh! To dream!!!
Kitchens are a favorite of mine since I seem to putter in mine a lot, thanks for the link. The color palette of the one you featured is right up my alley!
Love the kitchen you posted. My cabinets need to be painted, but what a chore.
Have a great day,
Cathy
Oh How very pretty!! I also love the red. Looks like you have been busy fluffin' your nest too!!!
Have a wonderful week!!
I am headin' over to check her blog out.

What a kitchen...i'd love one too :)
Well, thank you for this wonderful post...the song is fabulous and would you believe, I've never heard it.
Secondly, that very photo of the kitchen is the one I used for inspiration on my kitchen re-do a couple of yrs ago. I kept that pic on my fridge door all during the painting. I'll post it tomorrow and my kitchen to show every one.
Thanks so much for giving everyone a heads up on the kitchen open house.
hugs, bj
Thanks I will go take a look…
I keep telling my husband that a kitchen is not a requirement in our next home…
He laughs and insist that it’s good for resale..

Yes, I saw this on someone else's blog. You know which kitchen was their dream kitchen...yours. They showed your kitchen featured in a magazine. I will check out some more of these lovely dream kitchens. Karen
Thanks for the heads up. I think I will visit during lunch. I love the rooster rug in this kitchen.

Hello dear sweet Penny!
I have missed checking in on you these past few days, looks like you have been busy fluffing your space some more! Fun!
What a nest thing to post favorite kitchen pictures, it is great to look at them all this AM! Boy, gets me inspired to fluff too...
Hope your week is going great so far!
XO,
DL
That's a great kitchen! I enjoyed all the ones on BJ's post too!
Hugs,

Running as fast as I can to catch up with you Penny! This Spring cleaning, gardening, painting etc. just keeps a gal far too busy to blog!!
First - please share the address of that big antiques place - I would like to stop there when next in the area.
Loved all the pics from the street fair - one finds the best things in the smaller towns where the true crafts people hang out - such as you of course!
Love your bath image - perhaps I'll try that on a good day when I can actually sit down and get up again in the tub, LOL!!
Penny - I believe you kept in touch with Alexandra at Silver Bell Cottage (Greensboro, NC). Her blog has gone and my friend in South Africa asked if I knew what happened. By chance, do you have any idea about this? Please let me know. I had not really been in touch with Alexandra for some time - it's just getting so hard to keep up with so many great friends on a regular basis!
This is a timely post! I'm need of inspiration for my kitchen. Thanks!
Nancy
I agree with you, the red white and green is a great combo.
Hope you are having a wonderful week!

I just had to check out the kitchens...some of them are FABULOUS!
I sent pics of our before and after...maybe they'll make her page!
Thanks for sharing...
Jillian
The kitchen is the "heart" of the home! Love this one posted!
Did you recieve my email? Q. re:Italy
we are planning our trip!
I just really want to see your redo's.
I know they are going to be so great.
I will keep checking back..I am on pins and needles :)
Those two are my fav. so far too. The are on a web page I would have to order.
Now if I lived in an old farm house I would sure choose an older style, but I have to realize I dont live in that style home.
Oh Penny..I saw your lovely kitchen on BJ's blog..I love it!!
