Now all I have to do is paint it and wait for the SECOND package to arrive to cover it.
I heard today that the second package will arrive before the 14th. As soon as it is here, I will do the big reveal.....
Here is a sneak peak at one of the two rooms....See the item to the left that arrived today and needs painting? Red or black?? That is the question I am wondering. What do you think? Oh, and see the chandelier shades? They will be changing too.

At first I was going to vote for black, but then I got to thinking GO FOR RED! You can always repaint years down the road if/when you get the itch to redecorrate again! So . . . count me in for RED!

Red or black, red or black... I can't think clearly because of all the suspense! I would choose black if you want it to go with other decors in your home (for an extra seating). I'd choose red if it's going to always stay in it's home in the kitchen. Of course a pop of red is so nice, but then black is so classic. What a hard question you proposed! I see your dilemma!

Hello Penny, thanks for looking in on my post. After re-reading all the comments I had a big laugh too. It's all true, I wasn't a dog lover until Trippy. I am a changed woman, I love dogs.
Your ideas for your decorating project sound terrific. I don't think you need advice. You are a true artist. After seeing Beverly's mosaic I am trying to think about something you can do for me. We call our porch 'Vaughters Vista' I think there is a job here. (smile)

First, did you notice we just can not see through the fruit? (he he he) With that said I wish I could see just a little bit more. Since it is summer time I say red. Is the table red? Becasue then I say black. If the sun is out then black, raining out then red. As you can tell I just do not know what color. It will look fantastic what ever color you decide on, and it is only paint.

Oh! Penny? I broke 2 blue and white plates recently and I was wondering if you could use the fragments.
I am such a klutz but I was thinking yo would be able to use these bits in your projects instead of them going into the trash (Or recyclables as it were!)

You are such a tease! How about red? How about both colors? You could paint the entire chair black then then paint a section with red for an accent. Since I can't see the whole thing, it's a little hard to say.
