They were exciting days weren't they! Gerry and the Pakemakers too-Can't Leave in a World Without Love,Herman's Hermits, with Mrs. Brown You've Got a Lovely Daughter.*sigh*. My parents took my brother and I to see the Beatles film "Hard Day's Night" at the drive-in.John was always my favourite.
I laughed out loud when I read this because I do it all the time...as loud as I can get...and sometimes, in my car ! I sing along and "move" all over the seat and other drivers are looking and thinking "What is WRONG with that old, gray haired lady?" :o) bj
I remember going to see the Beatles when I was in 8th grade. They came to Pittsburgh and it was a madhouse! Our seats were in peanut heaven and because of all the screaming you couldn't hear them sing. But, it sure was fun! Because I live on 3 acres with no neighbors to offend, I often crank up the tunes REALLY LOUD, and sing and dance away.....Hope your hubby is enjoying Father's Day. Happy Sunday, Penny!
Penny there was a delay in the sound coming on and it ((((scared))) the beejeebers out of me!! But I'm ((twisting around to this fab..music!!)) Oh it brings back memories!! Oh YEH it brings back great memories!! We are celebrating baby blues here!! YEH YEH YEH-H-H-H-H!!!
Oh my and now the French music..and I'm off to Paris this summer!!
Oooooh I am a dancin' fool!!! While I work in my studio, I prefer calming Classical music, but when I blog or work on my website, I turn into a disco diva!!! hugs ~ Joy
The music of the early Beatles unforgettable. I have seen Hard Days Night and Help so many times I've lost count. They are silly movies but only watched them for the music.
Hi Penny, you are a girl after my own heart. I do this all the time and love it. Now I will think of you and all the others doing the same. Have a great week. hugs, Celestina la rea rose
LOL! Oh boy! I am dancing to the Beetles as I am typing. I was 5 when the Fantastic 5 hit the US and was in LOVE with Ringo Starr!!!! I had a little 45 RPM and would listen to my Beetles all day long. I love Twist And Shout and She Loves You. I had both songs!! Penny, thanks for sparking a great memory. My husband and I saw Paul McCartney and Wings in Berkley years ago and it was by far the BEST concert, besides Elton John and Huey Lewis and The News.

Oh Penny, you are my kind of girl.
LOVE the Beatles. Paul didn't wait for me to grow up so we could be married. I was heartbroken-hehe.

With two teenage girls loud music isn't something we feel a lack of:>) They rock out to the same stuff we do!
I had fun catching up with you this Sunday, Penny and listening to the Beatles sing that song made me feel 12 again...not too bad! :-)
I love the colors going into your home -- I think everyone was into beige in the late 80's and 90's. Color is so much more fun!
Beautiful mosaic works, as always! Hopefully, someday, I'll be able to order a custom made piece.
Hugs, Pat
There is noone better to dance to!
