What A Wonderful Morning!
I woke up this morning to a beautiful day! The sun was shining and the birds were chirping. It was the perfect day to have my breakfast outside in our front courtyard.

I agree - it's just a wonderful venue in which to wake-up. I sit, coffee in hand, and enjoy those same sounds. We have left our bird feeders up for the summer so that attracts the birds and keeps them coming in closer to the house. Didn't God do marvelous things?

I have a garden home courtyard. That's why I didn't post on the front porch theme yesterday. (Sigh..) Love my courtyard though! I have a Target gazebo set up there.

That is my favorite sound. I have a bird and love to hear him sing. I have birds in my backyard that sing, and I have nature sounds with birds on my blog.
So I guess you can say I am a bird lover of sorts.

I am more of a night owl but I can so relate to sitting out with a pot of tea and a cream scone in the garden just breathing in the rose, lavender, honeysuckle, jasmine, and mock orange scents.

Hearing the bird song was such a treat Penny! I went into Manhattan today and missed hearing the birds at my bird feeder. I heard a lot of sirens and construction sounds instead ...ugh!

You asked about the letters...we used scrapbooking paper..oh, the array of patterns and colors. My granddaughter and I have so much fun doing them and I am working on some for my kitchen right now. They are such fun to do...( I think an "OH LA LA" done in the French countryside colors would be perfect for your cottage) :o)
