First I would like to thank Sandy at Quill Cottage for giving me the following award.

This award is "dedicated to many who nourish and enrich the spirit and creativity. They see dedication, creativity, camaraderie, joy, and above all ART, much art. I wish that this prize is entertaining to all those bloggers and to bloggers who day by day share this space and enrich it a little more each day." Arte Y Pico at http://arteypico.blogspot.com/
Now for the rules:
1) Select 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award, creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogger community, no matter what language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award-winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4) The award-winner and the one who has given the prize have to show a link of "Arte y pico" blog, so everyone will know the origin of the award.
I can't pick only five blogs....and many of you have already received this many times over. But if you are reading this and have not received it, please feel free to accept this award, because I know all of my blog friends are very creative.
I would also like to thank Sandy for having a wonderful giveaway that I won! Sandy made this gorgeous journal. She also included a pen, so I would always have one on had to write in my journal. I just love it Sandy! Thank you!

I also need to thank Beverly at How Sweet The Sound. She too, had a wonderful giveaway for the book, The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran. Years ago I used to have this book and lost it. It was a favorite book of mine. I am so glad I won it on Beverly's giveaway! Look at that pretty wrapping paper it came in...

Beverly also included a sweet "Dream" book marker. Thanks again Beverly!

I'm sure I owe more thank you's... I am sorry I am so far behind. I will catch up soon.

Penny, Congrats on your award. You definitely have a standout blog with an amazing talent as well. I love your beautiful tile work.
Thank you again for the lavender field link. On further investigation, you can't buy lavender unless you can find it dried. At least not at the link or at any local florist. I gave it a good try. I settled for lavender daises. All ordered and paid for. Yeh!
Lucky you, winning Beverly's book. I'm happy for you. Especially since you can't find yours.
have a great weekend,
Jeanne

Lucky girl in your awards...not so lucky with the frying lightening...we've had a time of it too for two nights running and a total of 4inches of rain (not that I'm complaining). Do hope that all your repairs will be minor ones! And keep on getting those lovely awards...and luck of winning the drawings!
hugs
Sandi

Yikes on having your modem struck by lightening! Glad you have it working or got a new one.
Congrats on the award! You sure deserve it!
How sweet that you won two contests! You won some beautiful things. I used to have a copy of Khalil Gibran's The Prophet. It's probably still over at my brother's house, which used to be my parents house.
