My name is Penny Carlson and I own Lavender Hill Studio. I love finding old cast off items and fixing them up to give them a new life. From furniture to fabric and salvage to silver plate, anything is fair game.
Come along with me as we go to flea markets, antique stores and more. I will be taking my video camera along with me on some of my shopping trips, so you can see the whole process of reinventing a piece. I will show you what I look out for and what I avoid.
Then we will go back to the studio, and I will get to work. You will see amazing transformations in before and after photos. I will post tutorials from time to time.
